There are many costs involved in the day to day operations of the party as well as the local riding association. While these costs are most visible during an election campaign, there is quite a bit that happens between elections. Your donation to either the central party or the local riding association will ensure that funds will be available to meet these expenses.
Why donate? There are 2 good reasons:
- Supporting the ONLY political party whose mission is to stand up for the middle class in both Queens’ Park and Parliament.
- Generous tax credits. See the tax calculators to the right to try it out for yourself. For example if you donate up to $400.00 federally, you will receive a tax credit for 75% of the value of the donation. In other words if you donate $100.00 it will only cost you $25.00 as you will receive a $75.00 tax credit. Remember that political donations come right off of the taxes owing and are not factored down.
