Glenn Crowe Biography

Born in Scarborough, Glenn has lived in Brampton most of his life. He currently lives within the Bramalea/Gore/Malton riding with his wife Joanna.
After graduating from Bramalea Secondary School he went to Humber College where he got a diploma in Environmental Systems Engineering Technology / Energy Management in 1994. For the past 10 years he’s held progressive positions at one of the large HVAC (Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning) companies.
Glenn developed a keen interest in politics a young age. Growing up with an Autistic brother he realized how important it is to have politicians that will stand up for fairness, and not turn a blind eye to the sufferings of his constituents.
With a passion for responsible and fair government, there were two main issues that brought Glenn into the political fold: Fair & affordable auto insurance, since his family and others close to him have struggled under the burden of high insurance premiums. He was shocked to learn that there was no ability to appeal a decision by the insurance industry, and few options for getting affordable insurance once it has been cancelled. Even if it was cancelled for something as minor as his wife backing into a parked car and being involved in an accident with in the last 2 years.
The other issue important to him is long term housing and assistance for developmentally delayed children and adults. He worries about the long term future of his Autistic brother and knows there are plenty of others in the same situation. While growing up Glenn watched his parents fight for his brother to ensure that he has an education, support workers and a place in the community.
With his sights set on Queen’s park, he’s realized that the best way to ensure fairness for working families is to take action himself. Glenn has experienced the same troubles and burdens that most of Ontarians survive. This makes him a person who can appreciate your situation. He believes that it’s time the benefits of Ontario’s economy are enjoyed by Ontarians, with better access to health care, a living wage for all, and a socially responsible government.
